Review: In this book written by Joanne Lecuyer, Juliane, a young witch meets a traveler with dark intentions who needs to be escorted into the forest. An evil spell is unleashed it needs to be stopped. This book was wonderful, teaching children that power isn't everything, but friendship and love is. This book teaches you to get over your fears, to love and respect others, and be grateful. I liked how this book had Dutch and German words in it for children to learn.

Review: Pat Frayne is the author of Topaz and the Evil Wizard. The story starts in Knownotten Kingdom where a young fairy girl named Orange Blossom can't find her brother. Topaz, a Yellow Conjure Cat, steps in and finds her brother but when he does things take a turn and other events happen... I loved how this book was suspenseful, I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. I found the story very interesting as the story said more about Topaz. 5 Stars
2/18/2014 "The Adventures of Cefa the Cat: Book # 1 Cefa Finds a Home" written by Christine CatonRead Now
ISBN: 978-1460906507 Review: “The Adventures of Cefa the Cat: Cefa Finds a Home” is a wonderful tale about a cat named Cefa who gets adopted from the animal shelter. Cefa is a cute little cat who likes many new things but also gets scared of some too just like a real cat. Children will not only learn a moral in this story and a Russian word but will also learn more about cats. This delightful tale teaches a little on cat behaviour and things to watch out for when you take a cat outside. I would recommend this book to any young reader with a cat or one who is about to get one. You can also find this book in Spanish and in Kindle (both in English and Spanish). The link below will take you directly to the English book version on Amazon. 5 Stars
Erika-Elizabeth's Review: “The Witch, the Cat and the Egg” is a creatively written book about a witch who is asked to do something by a dragon. The main character, Juliane, the witch is a good role model for children because she is kind and loves helping others. The potions and spells she knew were creatively thought up as well as the names of the forest creatures by the author. I liked how the characters helped each other, showing that they were great friends and it made a good lesson in friendship. The illustrations that were in the book were good and my favourite character was Magicus her cat because I love cats and thought he was smart. 5 Stars
